2003 Chevrolet Venture LS
Summary:
Most bland car on the road, and probably most best car as well
Faults:
Wheel bearing, rear wiper, rear heater, windshield wipers, brake wiring, alternator, radiator, window power switch, fuel pump, funky gas reading, and then some.
I drove it everywhere, and it shows.
General Comments:
I grabbed this rig in a pinch and fell in love with it.
Torquey, tons of room, nice sound and DVD, cheap to fix and fun to drive.
Lots of things wore out on my little Gumdrop, though. After all, it isn't a Honda.
It's a gumdrop because it appears to be the most bland and undistinguishable vehicle to be seen.
On any road.
I have worn mine out and will seek something a bit more substantial.
It will likely be gifted to a charitable organization, because to repair everything is over my level of commitment, and would be equal in value to a donation, anyway.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Agreed about the weak headlights, especially on high beam.
On the positive side, I found that it was relatively uncomplicated to add an auxiliary set of small driving lights (Cibie brand) under the bumper. Their black bodies and covers "went" nicely with the black bumper rub strips; nice integrated appearance with a 1 mile (almost 2 kilometres) long high beam. NO switch necessary in dashboard, simply wired a 5 dollar Autozone regular type relay - with inline fuse- from positive side of battery, with a trigger-circuit feed off the high beam wire (easy to get to follow directions in owners manual for changing the headlight bulb).
Lights go on and off with the high beams, dealer for my leased vehicle considers it an "upgrade" and thus has no complaints.
