Faults:

The heated and cooled cupholders in the center console are haunted. The one closest to the driver comes on HOT when you start the car, and when you try to turn it off, the Cool turns on on the passenger cupholder. The dealer is going to replace it under warranty.

General Comments:

We previously owned a 2015 300C with the 3.6 Pentastar V6, in black with chrome trim. It was a beautiful car and up until we hit 50k miles it was perfect, but beyond 50K we started having some issues, so traded it for a newer Buick Lacrosse. My wife and I just never warmed up to the Lacrosse, and when this red velvet 2019 300C with the Hemi showed up at a local dealer with just 13k miles on, we traded the Buick. Do NOT miss the Lacrosse.

These Chrysler 300s are the last of the real American-style cars. They have great presence and lots of personality. Rear-drive, BIG, roomy inside, great wife seats, good visibility out, a formal roofline that makes it easy to get in and out of the back seat, they are quick, smooth, and make great trip vehicles.

We loved our 3015 300C, and were always getting comments on how nice it looked, but those compliments were followed with "is it a Hemi?", and I hated saying NO. This new 2019 300 has the Hemi, and while yes it loves gas, it's also intoxicating how quick it is, the exhaust note is a joy, and it's more fun than any 4dr passenger car should be!

Other likes are the huge panoramic sunroof, the big trunk, the classic view from the driver's seat over a long sculpted hood and peaked from fenders, and the view in the rear view mirror of the trunk spoiler. Most modern cars only give you a view of a dashboard and some wiper blades... these 300s are just such a good throwback!

For questionable things, I'm not sure if I liked the chrome trim on our 2015 300C more than the brushed-metal Platinum trim on our new 2019 300C. I like things that SHINE and kind of miss the bright chrome. This is an New/OLD car, with a structure that goes all the way back to 2005, so some of the interior trim looks a bit dated, and if you are into tech toys these may not have everything you want. I don't mind a manual parking brake, and could care less about engine stop/start at lights, both things our Lacrosse had that this 300 doesn't.

These are just great traditional CARS! You WILL get compliments a lot, they do get a lot of attention, and at this point most of the bugs have long since been worked out on these. Hope to keep this one a long time.
