2002 Chrysler 300M Special 3.5
Summary:
Great car that was fun and reliable, and was cheap (used)
Faults:
The only thing that went wrong with it at below 100k miles, was the engine computer needed replacing at 67k miles (covered under warranty), and I had all 4 02 sensors replaced at around the 95k mile mark (recommended replacement is every 50k). Other than that, the car was dead reliable.
I consider items such as wheel bearings and belts as part of normal maintenance, once the car gets over 100k miles.
General Comments:
This has been a very reliable car for me. I do a lot of driving for work, so I rely on my car quite often. The miles are getting pretty high on the car, and I have decided to start looking for another vehicle, but will miss this car dearly.
This car was a very versatile car, I could tow (up to 3500lbs) with it, it was comfortable, it had a lot of high end luxury items that are options on cars of today, and the gas mileage was pretty good for how big it was.
I'm having a heck of a time finding a replacement, as most new cars today will not allow for towing...
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

As far as parts go, try using car-part.com or Pull-a-part to find the body parts you need. It's best to find used parts that are the same color, because re-painted parts never match.
Any aftermarket parts (meaning not original OEM) do not seem to fit very well on these cars. And again, color match will not be perfect when painted.
Good luck with your quest.
