1993 Chrysler Concorde 3.3L, V6
Summary:
Worth what I bought it for, but the repairs are too costly
Faults:
The appearance of my car is bad. I shouldn't have bought it, but I really needed a vehicle.
I don't know exactly every repair on it, but I've had a few done since September 2003.
I had to replace the starter at about 175,000 miles. I believe the cost was 50 dollars or so, my father paid for it.
The fuel pump went right before the started. I swear my gas gage isn't correct either. Fuel pump costs about $300.
The back of the drivers seat broke, but I have not had it replaced yet.
The air conditioning never worked.
The automatic windows fell off track and the mounts busted at about 200,000 miles.
The rotor (s) is/are finally starting to go, started a couple weeks ago.
The brakes are finally starting to go also.
The headliner started to come off at about 180,000 miles. It would take about $200 to get it done, I don't have the money.
Paint is rusting and chipping. Started before I bought it.
General Comments:
I bought this car from my mother, who had bought it off her nephew. He beat the life out of this car.
The back bumper and reinforcement has been ripped off and the bumper is just held up by wire clothes hangers.
The front fender and part of the front bumper is cracked to bits and pieces and taped together with duct tape.
There was a sunroof in it, but the window busted.
It's not the best looking car, but it's not the worst either. It still rides very nice. But the appearance is horrible.
I only bought this car for $600, but in the end about $1300. I don't remember all the exact costs.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
