1993 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible 3.0 Mitsubishi V6
Summary:
A fast comfortable ride
Faults:
When I first got the car it needed a new transmition, the dealers were very helpful and I got a rental while it was being fixed. It's needed a new fuel filter, air filter. The power wire to the stereo and interior lights doesn't work anymore, so I bi-passed a wire from the accessory to my stereo and still have no interior lights. Seats started to wear and rip, but its nothing seat covers can't fix. Other than that nothing has really gone wrong with it, but the rear crossbar needs a routine lube (due to snow)
General Comments:
The car is pretty fast due to the Mitsu 3.0 engine. It handles nicely and rides very smooth, not to mention it's a convertible. I find that it leaks when it rains a little bit from the top bars of the convertible top. The interior is quite luxurious for a convertible and the air conditioning is freezing cold. The only downfall I've seen when the car was made is that it doesn't have alloy rims, down with the damn hub caps, white spoke rims look great on it. I bought the car from my dad this year for $1000, a very very good deal considering it has low miles and books for around $3 or 3.5 grand. The car is a great buy and really fun the drive.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have had nothing but problems from my Landau. I bought mine last year and have since replaced the Transmission, belt tensioner, belts, horn, and the fuel injection. I have put $3,000 in repairs on a car I feel obviously is shoddy. The transmission shop took one look at my car and said "Oh, yea. We get a lot of these." Well, isn't that nice. And the dealership? They replaced a part that I discovered later in a past receipt that was only 7 months old, saying it was old, worn and it'll cost me. I show them the receipt from the other dealership and they back pedal. This is my first and last Chrysler.
