1986 Chrysler New Yorker 2.5
Summary:
I great car from a time of so-so cars
Faults:
Currently I am investigating a noise coming from the rear driver side quarter panel. I believe I have a rub. The suspension in the back seems to be slumped.
Turning Left at a decent speed also creates a vibration on the front passenger side wheel.
The driver power window is stuck, the motor is working and drawing current, but the window is not working. Again, Investigation will root out the problem.
That is all, the car is PERFECT otherwise.
General Comments:
I love this car. I bought it last week from a 92 year old lady who bought it new and only put 23,500 miles on it in 17 years.
It is the ultimate in refinement for the period. I bought it and drove it 400 miles the first weekend I had it. I never got tired or uncomfortable.
Everything works except for what is mentioned above. It is so nice to drive.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
