1968 Chrysler Town and Country Wagon 383 4-barrel

Summary:

Wonder Wagon!

Faults:

Nothing, amazingly.

General Comments:

It's a tank! I once got hit by a truck, and while it was totaled, my rear bumper had a small dent, and I drove away!

Very comfortable, but it handles like a boat! Well, I guess it is.

Speaking of boats, I haul a 27' boat with it, it puts almost no strain on the engine.

Pretty fast, too. Makes great burn outs.

One slight problem - low supply of trim trim parts. I need to replace some, but can't find any.

I love this car!

1968 Chrysler Town and Country 9-passenger 440 2-barrel

Summary:

A quick, V-8 wagon that will haul anything in style and comfort

Faults:

Very little. It once stalled on me at a traffic light, it takes about 5 minutes to warm up well enough to drive, and the passenger side rear door must be locked manually. Also, the air conditioning (which the car does have) no longer works. None of this is really a big deal, the windows make great air-conditioners. Also, the previous owner screwed up the odometer, so I don't know how many miles are on it. He believes it has rolled over twice.

General Comments:

It cost me $2000, and it's solid as a rock. No rust anywhere, ran the moment I bought it.

I love this car! It's fun, it's fast, and there is no more comfortable ride in the world!

It's like riding on air!

I'm looking to buy a second one for no good reason!

We once towed our 5-ton delivery truck to the auto shop with it, doing 85 mph!

It sucks gas and hauls a**, end of story.
