2000 Chrysler Town and Country Limited 3.8L V6
Summary:
Great, reliable, comfortable and roomy, with good mileage
Faults:
Replaced the transmission sensors (around $60 total) at around 110000 miles.
Had brakes replaced around 150000, and no other problems.
Replaced head liner at 175000.
General Comments:
Very little has gone wrong. LOVE the ride and comfort. I have had almost NO problems. Amazingly the original tranny still going, and engine leaks little to no oil. Using pure synthetic oil in the engine, and changing it every 10000 miles. This van has more usable space than my Suburban had. I do miss the trailer hauling capacity, but otherwise I would choose this van. Love the quad seating since have four boys, all over 6 foot tall.
Averaging 22mpg hwy and 19mpg city with this new alcohol laden fuel (was about 5mpg better before ethanol). This van gets same or better mileage than others I have or found, and T&C has best comfort over all of them.
I would choose this T&C over any other van I have owned or seen.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I am the original poster and the alternator has recently gone out. We are in the process of fixing it.
We are not too happy with Chrysler's customer service.
