Faults:
I have replaced tires about every 65,000 miles.
Replaced the power steering pump at 125,000 miles. The shaft broke in a hard turn four wheeling.
I put new brakes pads, rotors and brakes shoes on at 145,000 miles. The original still had 50% or better, and I pull a trailer with 5,000 to 10,000 pounds on it, and no trailer brakes.
Replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and wires at 145,000 also. These were all still original too.
The only real complaint I have had is with the power lock actuators. The plastic wears out and they are very noisy.
General Comments:
This this has been driven hard and put away wet. I have driven this in mud and snow. It has been off the ground more than once, and not just a few inches, but a few feet.
This would have looked at home on the front of a four wheeling magazine.
I have pulled trailers full of scrap iron, lumber, fire wood and farm equipment, and it has always treated me right.
All car manufacturers have vehicles that do not perform up to expectations, and all have vehicles that are money pits. I have driven Chevy, Ford, Toyota, Audi and a few others I can't remember, and can complain about small things about every one of them.
