General Comments:
We like this truck a lot and got a good deal on it. We did a lot of research on this website before we chose to buy. We are happy to have gotten a service contract and would advise getting one if you choose any SUV, nothing is cheap to fix unless you are a mechanic. Fit and finish is very good. It's size is just right, not too big, not too small. Storage is good, having all those seats is great! We have used all the seat configurations you can think of. Power is excellant and acceleration is good, but not "oh my" impressive. The trip computer is off by just over 1 mile to the gallon. We get about 14mpg (when the trip computer tells me I'm getting 13) in it consistently on a 20 mile each way trip to work in decent traffic. It has recorded 17-18 highway on trips around the northwest. We now have the vehicle serviced at a private garage that is much more service oriented than the dealership, that has made a big difference to us. The dealer always wanted to do something else and it seemed wanted to "look" for problems where there weren't any. We believe servicing on the manufacturer's maintenance schedule is imperative to keep surprises from occurring, but that's why there are service schedules. Insurance is not too costly (my 1995 Mazda MX-6 LS was more expensive to insure).

Check the connection to the heater control assembly (where you turn on the heat from.) If the connection there is OK, then look towards the blower resistor block.
