There is a lot of front end suspension problems such as my ti-rods that have gone bad.
The speed sensors have gone bad twice.
The engine burned up at 64,000 miles.
The dash cracked from the sun the first year I had The car.
The front rotors warped.
All struts are worn out.
Electrical guage problems.
The cam sensor had gone bad.
I have also noticed my gas mileage go down.
General Comments:
My personal opinion of this car is that it is horrible and I would recommend not buying one.
I lucked out when I paid extra for the extended warranty and haven't had to pay for the large repairs.
If the car ran properly, it would be nice do to the style and size of the car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I did not see the mileage of your car mentioned and I assume it is the 2.7 engine. If it is please be warned. I bought my 99 Intrepid new in late 98. I was 39 and it was my first new car, my fifth Dodge and cost me twice as much at inception than any car I had previously owned. To date I have spent about $8,000 out of pocket for repairs not including related expenses and the thousands spent by my extended warranty company. I have maintained the car to the standards in the owner's manual and then some. The car now has 66,281 miles on it and yesterday I had it towed to the dealership for the fourth time. Fourth time does not include the numerous times I was lucky enough to drive it in. This time the transmission got stuck in first gear and the check engine light came on. All of this 360 miles after the last time it was serviced, including the transmission which is about the only mechanical component that has not been replaced at least once. I wish you all the luck in the world.
