General Comments:
I want to join a class action law suit!
The 1999 Dodge Intrepid, is a joke! I feel like I live in the "Bedrock" days.
I dealt with the various sensors going out every 8 to 10 months and paying the normal $50.00 warranty deductible.
I also learned to live with only 2 operable windows, but then the engine went out.
I was on my way home and the car did a few jerks as if it wasn't getting enough gas. But that wasn't the end the began to make a banging noise and I pulled off the freeway just in time for the car to die.
The rest of my story is the same as everyone Elses at this point, except I provided what they ask for. Three oil receipts and a lot of calls, but the 5 star dealership mechanic told the warranty company that there was sludge in the engine before they even tore down the engine. I took my car back before they did and charged me another $500.00 for what they already new.
Never the less I'm still paying for this piece of junk lawn ornament.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

The only thing wrong with sloppy steering on these vehicles is a replaceable bushing kit that attaches both inner tie rods to the rack. I know from experience.
