2000 Dodge Intrepid 2.7
Faults:
I purchased the car in July with only 29000 miles. The car seemed to be in excellent condition and was very clean inside and out.
November hits and my oil light keeps flickering on. Being a single Mom who puts safety first, I immediately take it to my local garage to see what's wrong. The oil pump is shot, there is "sludge" everywhere, the tensioner chain needs to be replaced, and many more. All together totaling over $1300.00. What a very unwanted bill to receive right before Christmas for a single Mom. So what do I tell my child "no presents this year because my car is a piece of junk!" Not likely to go over well.
I've always been impressed with their vehicles, but after this I will never buy a Dodge or a Chrysler again. I don't expect this type of problem out of a car with only 34000 miles. Buyers beware of this model!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Sounds like my 2.7 Intrepid problems. Nice car, but very unreliable.
