Faults:
The A/C went out about 60,000 miles - the hose literally blew off the compressor while I was going about 65mph, then the oxygen sensor went out so many times I have really lost count, each time costing me 250 dollars to repair. Then some kind of link broke on the manual transmission, it's cost a good bit to fix. Also the car just doesn't like to go through rain/puddles, I have no idea why.
General Comments:
This car has had many problems but it was basically a good little car. I was however disappointed that I had an extended warranty and it seemed never to cover anything that broke, even though when I bought it I was told it covered everything. But the dealership was always very friendly to me and my car, always washing it before they returned it to me. I traded the car last year for a Honda Civic, I may take interest in another Neon if I read later on that they have improved with age as cars often do.

Definitely do not buy a Neon because I have had radiator problems from day one. When I bought my car in 1999, they had to replace the tires, brakes, muffler, and antenna. That should have been a warning, don't ask me why I bought it.
