2002 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab sport 5.9
Summary:
Buy one, you won't regret it
Faults:
When I purchased it the pass. rear window did not work, but the dealer fixed for free as well as the radio, it would shut off when I would change the volume, but they took care of that.. Other than those two things I've had no problems.
General Comments:
5.9 engine has plenty of torque and hp. Pulls 66 galaxie on trailer with no problems.
Gas mileage is decent, after all it is a truck and I bought it to use it, not because trucks and suvs are popular now.
Looks great, best looking and has the best interior out of the big three.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I use my Ram for light duty, the springs shattered and cost me 600 bucks to replace, cost was up a bit because I added a helper spring. The first thing to do is dump out weak Dodge springs and go with Ford, better ride and stronger. the brakes were always weird, no idea if they were fixed when replaced have to wait for ice or snow to test to see if the rears stick to point of tossing you off the road. I pulled my key out of the ignition and had to get Dodge to pull steering. 200 bucks to fix. The result was my fan would not shutdown, found out when I went to start the truck the next morning for work, and the battery was killed. 135 bucks for new battery.
