1985 Dodge Ramcharger Royal 150 SE 318ci

Summary:

It is a great start up car for a teen

Faults:

Nothing at this time is wrong or has gone wrong.

General Comments:

As far as performance parts or replacement parts are concerned, they are so cheap I can't believe it. I have owned Broncos, K-5's and Jimmy's, and the part for a 4x4 have never been this cheap. Plus I am still a die hard GM and Mopar man.

If you want a truck, the RC is it, if you want an SUV, the RC is it. It will be hard for me to ever part with this one.

1985 Dodge Ramcharger Royal SE 150 Custom 318

Summary:

This is THE BEST truck I've ever seen

Faults:

Well the only thing that went wrong with my truck since I've owned it was the stereo was fried when I power washed it. New seats will be coming soon, as well as a transmission fluid and filter replacement.

General Comments:

I love this truck!! It got me through my first winter no problem. It is my first and hopefully my last vehicle. It is very roomy, I can stretch my legs as far as I can with no problem, and I'm 6Ft.! I can out tow, out maneuver, and beat many others trucks off the line with no modifications (I'm fast). I've never been in an accident or put it in the ditch. I've avoided a few hits with this truck and its never failed to grip the road. It always starts, and alway goes. My dad had one, sold it after many years of hunting, fighting fires, and traveling. My grandfather gave me his, and it's my favorite vehicle. I'd chose it over anything.

Had a 1985 RamCharger Royal SE 4x4 with a 318 5.2 engine

We had a freind that had a 1979 Thunderbird on 1980 something Bronco frame. It hadn't been moved in a while and was in some what of a gully. We hooked up to it. put the tranny into low gear and on a very good layer of Georgia Long Needle straw with all wheels spinning pulled an old Ford ThunderChicken back into play. Jones Co. Macon Ga.

1985 Dodge Ramcharger Prospecter 5.2L 318 V8

Summary:

An off road Chevy eating beast.

Faults:

Had to replace windshield wiper motor.

I had to charge my air conditioning.

General Comments:

I have always been a very big fan of dodge trucks and this truck is perfect for me. I have took the "Beast" to places that other trucks only dream of going, I am not scared to take the "Beast" anywhere. I am planing to keep this truck forever and I am sure it will last that long.

But there is a couple of things I would like to put on the "Beast" such as, a push bar, a light bar, and some new Mopar style valve covers.

1985 Dodge Ramcharger Royal SE 360 V 8

Summary:

It's an ugly gas hog, but I love it

Faults:

I've replace the spark plugs with Bosc platinum plugs, new Moroso Blue Max wires at 89,500 miles.

I replaced all the belt and hoses at 85,00 miles.

I'm currently replacing a spun left axle bearing in the rear differential. Its chewed up the axle pretty good, but the local shop says they may be able to save it. Its currently has 90,300 miles on it.

I replaced the radiator when I purchased this truck with 74,800 miles.

I have a brand new Holley Avenger Carburator to replace the old Quadra-Jet carburator asap!

I love this truck and won't be getting rid of it any time soon!

I have a friend with a Lincoln Navigator, and I wouldn't trade even with him for this awesome truck.

Its so rugged, it just asks for more.

My girlfriend says its ugly, but whats a guy on a budget to do?

General Comments:

Awesome truck.

Glad Dodge made this vehicle.

All kinds of head and leg room.

1985 Dodge Ramcharger V8

Summary:

Great Truck

Faults:

Replaced the motor because of a cracked block. Door locks don't work. No air conditioning. Flat tire. Replaced the drive shaft.

General Comments:

Great truck reliable and goes just about anywhere.

I have pulled huge logs with it and towed many trucks.

Although it is slow it makes a great truck.
