1992 Eagle Talon TSi 2.0 DOHC 16 valve turbo

Summary:

High performance Mustang killer

Faults:

Timing belt broke and smashed all the valves. After 1,500 dollars in dealership work it runs great. Have the timing belt done AT THE DEALERSHIP.

General Comments:

Have done many performance mods. Car is extremely fast and runs 14 second quarter miles with only minor mods. Can be made very fast for very little money. If you want to beat Cobras, this is the way to go.

1992 Eagle Talon TSi 2 litre, unleaded

Summary:

Cheap Thrills!

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with this '92 Talon. When I got it there were a few paint chips but besides that it is good.

General Comments:

This car is so fun to drive. It handles really well, sit nice in the corners and is so quick. It is pretty small inside but except for that it's right on. I prefer much it more than my '96 Dodge Avenger.

I have a 1994 Eagle Talon ES. Although I would have prefered the turbo, I absolutely love my car. It is quick off the line and has left many Hondas staring at my taillights.

I agree that the interior is way too small for me... unless there is only one other person in my car in which case the front is quite roomy with the exception of the headroom. I have had it for three years and plan on keeping it much longer.

I have a 1992 Eagle Talon w/turbo and absolutely love my car. It is a very fast car. I have had my share of problems with it though. It cuts out real bad at times and an hour later, it runs great. I have beat every car that

I raced!! Can anyone tell me what they think the problem is? I have had it hooked up to the diagnostics computer and it said 3 codes, 3 sensors. PCM sensor, speed control sensor and don't remember the third one. But that still might not be the problem. Does anyone have any ideas or know what I am talking about? please help!!!

1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 2.0L turbo unleaded

Faults:

Bought it used, so only minor problems. The original owner had to replace the timing belt/chain at 60K, I had to replace the alternator at 80K. I have some intermittent electrical problems that do not interfere with normal driving, but are entertaining.

General Comments:

Pretty quick, especially with the all-wheel drive for traction. Good in snow, unless it's more than 5-6 inches deep and it hits the underside of the car - then I wish I had a Jeep. Handles well. Some turbo lag, but you really know it when it kicks in.

I wanted an Eagle Talon since the first time I laid eyes on one when I was dating my now husband, and after 9 years of marriage he bought me a '91 model.

I'm so in love with this car. One word... PERFECTION... just like the one I showed him.

As long as there is an Eagle Talon I will own one.
