2009 Ford Crown Victoria Commercial P70 4.6

Summary:

Best car I ever owned

Faults:

nothing

General Comments:

I bought this stock P70 long wheel base Crown Vic in December 2011; a one owner, well maintained vehicle with 20,640 miles on it.

I get 19 to 20 MPG average, and have gotten 28.5 MPG doing 75 mph on the interstate with the air on. I have been a Toyota man for years, but I just got tired of the high maintenance costs, as well as the lack of room and comfort that a larger car provides.

I have always known about the Crown Vic's great reputation for dependability. I have been very pleased with this car. Parts and labor are cheap due to the old technology and ease of repair.

I have put 36,000 miles on it so far, and have had nothing go wrong. I follow the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual and expect to get 2 or 3 hundred thousand miles out of it. It's a 4200 pound tank that can really take a beating.

The seats are as comfortable as a Lazy Boy recliner. It won't blow the doors off other cars as far as speed goes, but for 20 MPG in a V8 car that weighs 4200 lbs, you can't beat it!

I wish Ford was still making them. I will buy another when I wear this one out.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
