2003 Ford Expedition XLT 4.6L V-8
Summary:
Best I ever owned
Faults:
A/C compressor.
Power windows.
General Comments:
We bought this car with at 17,000 miles. It now has 267,500 miles and has never given a major issue. We used it until about 150,000 miles to tow a 23 foot boat on the weekends, and it has made numerous trips up and down the east coast.
It's solid as the first day we got it, and the car exterior and interior still look great. The only issue besides normal maintenance has been the A/C compressor which I have replaced twice, but besides that only oil changes, tires and brakes. The engine runs strong and the transmission still shifts smooth.
I am about to change the struts now, because I will continue driving it as long as possible.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

It happens a lot on here, but I wouldn't say it was misleading, it's just that some people forget to list every fault they had with the car when doing a review. Also wear and tear (suspensions, brakes, etc) aren't exactly a fault to be listed in a faults section, you kinda have to assume they have replaced such parts at the mileage, as wear and tear items. Myself I've wrote a few reviews on here and always try my best to list the specific faults or breakdowns, but wear and tear gets a passing mention, just as things like oil and belt changes which I would say was scheduled servicing, rather than actual faults.

Seems pretty rude to be rooting for peoples’ trucks to have problems. Why not celebrate the fact this one had good luck? Good for the owner.

Sounds like this guy has something against Ford, reading this and the other 2 comments recently posted. The Expedition from this generation usually had no problem hitting 200k miles.

I don't know if you people realize, but it's not about a review with small mishaps. Sure that happens to anyone. But I was writing about a misleading review left perhaps by a brand fan. It is a big problem both on review sites and on video channels as well. It is a real issue and it concerns all car brands. There is a certain category of people out there who want others to believe their car has been perfect. This is why I used the word "misleading". These kind of people are real, and it's not a small minority. You just read the "truck wars" discussions on forums, where Ford guys say Ford are perfect and RAM guys say RAMs are perfect. It is a sad widespread tendency to glorify their beloved brand. You see the exact same thing on video channels - not going to name the most popular one.

Absolutely no car on planet earth would go 250000 miles with only an A/C compressor and window regulators bad. No such car was ever or will ever be built, all brands included. Why do people need to spread misleading information?
