General Comments:
This vehicle has been very reliable, it is comfortable and has good power. I use this vehicle as a daily driver and tow or haul frequently. I maintain the vehicle in accordance with the owners manual and change the fluids and service the vehicle on-time or early. All issues that I have experienced are what I would consider normal wear and tear items. Regardless of the failure, this vehicle has never left me stranded and has always been in a state, even if degraded performance, to drive to a location to repair. Parts are readily available and resources are abundant online to diagnose and instruct most repairs.

Learn to drive a stick and you wouldn't have this problem. Those V6 manual trans Fords have been around a long time, and haven't been a problem. The biggest issue with them is the slave cylinder, which is located in the clutch housing.
