1993 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback 5.0
Faults:
I bought my car new in 1993, and at 15,000 miles my clutch started chirping. I took it to the dealer and the throw out bearing was replaced.
I still own the car, and at 171550 miles, I'm STILL having problems with the whole clutch assembly. Now, my car will not go in and out of gear at all.
Ford has really screwed up! I have a 1985 Ford Mustang GT that has NEVER given me ANY problems. I think it's the 10.5 inch clutch on my 1993 that has been the chirping headache!
I love the sleek look of my 1993 fox body, but I HATE the screwed up job Ford has done.
My advice: if you buy a Ford... buy an automatic!!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

You should have bought a car with a lot less miles on it and maybe a 5.0 in it for the performance and handling you seem to be missing. All of the complaints you have are due to its age and how well it was maintained before you had it. I had two 5.0 Mustangs and they were great cars. I stored the second one in the winters and it looked like a showroom car when I sold it at 7 years old. In fact, I had flowmasters put in when it was 5 years old and they couldn't believe how clean the existing exhaust was when they checked it out for the conversion. It is all in how you take car of your car!
