General Comments:
My 1994 Ranger Super cab XLT has been one of the most reliable trucks I have ever owned.
I am the original owner of the Ranger.
It was special ordered with the 5 speed manual transmission and with the 4.0 motor.
It was also ordered with the heavy duty tow package.
Over the years this Ranger has towed and pulled a 21 foot boat that weighed over 2400 pounds.
It has towed numerous trailers for small jobs... like moving.
Over the years I have added a shell and custom lumbar rack on it.
Overall reliability and and power have been exceptionally impressive.
It still handles like a small car and the ride is still very comfortable.
Brakes were replaced after 100,000 miles.
Spark plugs also went over 100,000 miles before replacing.
I have never replace the shocks. The original ones are still fine.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I'm looking into buying this truck. Same model...
Any problems with that 5spd coupled to the 4.0? Do you think the tranny can handle the engine?
If I do get this truck, I can't wait to drive since I love manuals, the joy of revving it, slipping the clutch, and letting the power flow through the rear wheels. Sweeeet...
