2020 Ford Ranger Lariat 2.3 turbo

Summary:

A very good little truck

Faults:

Since the truck is so new, I have had no issues.

General Comments:

I will report on first impressions since I have only had it for three weeks. The power and handling are much better than I anticipated. The handling is definitely better than the 2018 F-150 I traded in. Parking it in my garage is a breeze, especially with the power folding mirrors. This truck appears to be solidly built and is extremely quiet at highway speeds. So far, I am very impressed with the Ranger.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Thanks for your review. I'm very curious about these vehicles as they are a radical departure from Rangers of yore ;)

Looks like Ford has got another winner in the new Ford Ranger that was redesigned in 2019. Edmunds.com has them rated at 4.2 stars for the 2019 model and 4.3 stars for the 2020 model. Which is pretty good for a newly designed vehicle right out of the box. The few complaints I saw were too soft a suspension and some sensor issues.

I have an update as the original reviewer. With 10,500 miles on the odometer, the truck has been flawless. I regularly achieve 25 MPG on the highway and there are no squeaks or rattles to be found. It is a very tight and well-built truck. I'll post an update later.
