General Comments:
I purchased this car for $1000 cdn just to get me to work and back (13 km once a week). I am a trucker and do not drive the car very often, so did not want the expense of something new.
The car had about 225,000 km on when I bought it and during the first week, the heater core blew. Cost me about $300 cdn to fix it (done by a shop as I did not have time to do it myself). 6 months later the starter died and it cost me $150 to replace it myself. Not too bad so far.
The car is on it's last legs though. The suspension is shot, there is a hole in the exhaust, the brakes are weak, the fuel gauge does not work, the dash lights do not work and both low beam bulbs are burnt out and the transmission is starting to slip. I don't care. The car runs fine and still gets me to my Semi once a week and that's all I need it to do. I know some of the things that are wrong with it now are easy and cheap to repair, but I am too lazy to fix them, and as for the more expensive repairs, I just don't think it's worth spending that kind of money on them. I will drive this car till it dies and I will not complain in the least!
My next purchase will cost me an awful lot more than the $1000 cdn for this tempo as I am going to buy a 2005 mustang gt!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Just to add an update, the car now leaks coolant from the water pump!
