1995 Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6
Summary:
If you want the best of performance and comfort, buy this car!
Faults:
Immediately after buying the car, the taillight went out (but was replaced under warranty).
I had unidentifiable and intermittent transmissions issues for the first year and a half I owned the car.
The trigger button on the gear shift broke.
General Comments:
I'll start with my last complaint, which is the same complaint anyone who has owned this car will tell you: the location of the cup holders on this vehicle is a joke. They are completely useless.
Now, for the good stuff. I love my car to death. It is, by far, the most fun vehicle I've ever owned.
The car is flat-out powerful. The 4.6L V8 engine will have you saying to your passengers, "What hill?" I don't care if you're driving up the steep side of a mountain.
It is difficult to gun the car from lower RPMs. However, if you're already at crusing speed, and perhaps you want to pass someone, you will GO.
The car is also extremely comfortable. This vehicle is the perfect cross between performance and luxury, and the price makes it impossible to ignore. I'm VERY sorry that Ford stopped this particular Thunderbird design because I probably would have been in line to buy a new one when this one dies.
I've enhanced the vehicle in the following ways:
1) K&N Filter
2) DynoMax cat-back exhaust
3) 160-watt head unit
4) 2 amps
5) Dual 10" Crunch subs
6) Moonroof.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have a 95 thunderbird LX V-8. I want to put a flowmaster cat-back dual exhaust on and flowmaster says it will add 20 h.p. It is about 270 dollars. So 20 horse would be added there and a k&n filter would help also.
