Faults:

Nothing that 11 years of much use shouldn't require.

General Comments:

Everything that has went wrong with this car is about due time. My car is 11 years old and it has never given me any trouble.

I had my car for six years before I ever replaced anything.

My first tune-up was in February 2006, eleven years later.

At this stage of the game my car should have to have things replaced or worn out.

This car was cheap in price. Therefore, I don't believe it was meant to be comfortable and quiet.

As for the color and sportiness of my Geo, it looked great in it's beginning.

I bought it brand new and I still love it to this day.

I just wish someone would "Pimp My Ride or Overhaul it."

Faults:

Leak in the down-pipe from the headers. Easy fix.

Other than that, the car is perfect.

General Comments:

This car is great, by far better than my Honda CRX was.

It gets great gas mileage and isn't really even that slow for 50 hp.

It's small, so handling is easy, and it is the easiest stick I have ever driven.

It's a hatchback, and still fits 4 people, and all 4 people are comfy, even though the car is so small.

I bought it for 900 and it's my favorite car to drive that I have ever driven.

Faults:

Definitely nothing wrong with the car. Just oil changes (by myself), brake services. The oil change is so easy because the filter is in the front and easy to reach. The 1.0 engine is enough and matched with the 5speed transmission.

General Comments:

Such a Great Little Hatchback Car. Super Reliable!!

Faults:

Replaced the clutch at 141,000 miles (broken spring)

Tightened a loose pulley bolt at 141,000 miles.

General Comments:

Purchased used from dealer - previous owner put 99,000 miles in less than 1 year!

Commuted to/from work 130 miles per day - gave to son for 2 years at college, returned to me for 1 year then gave to my daughter for 2 years at her college.

Used it for another 1 year and sold it with 250,000 miles. NEVER had any serious problems, only a clutch and I was able to drive and shift gears without the clutch pedal for 100+ miles to the mechanic; drove from Reno to bay area with 249,500 miles (mainly downhill) and with 2 adults (big adults), luggage and A/C on we actually hit 55mpg!!! During our family ownership of this car we never needed to add oil between changes!

The only regret I have is selling the car instead of investing the money to do a full restoration. It was to date, the best vehicle investment I've ever made!

I am 6'2" and 270 lbs and I just "fit"; never had a back ache from it!

Faults:

Burnt Valve, ran on 1 cylinder for 3 months or so, but never seemed to slow down bumper and hatch (from being rear ended)

General Comments:

This is the MOST reliable car was ever had. The only bad thing is they rust right in the control arms fast. We have been driving it for at least 8 years and nothing much to complain about. This car saved us so much money on gas. With Gas at 1.22 a litre we were shocked to be 30 bucks in for a tank. The tank lasts us at least 8 or 9 trips to town which is around 50 kilometers away.
