Faults:

I have no problems with the tracker so far. Who ever owned the truck before me took very good care of it.

General Comments:

This car is a blast to drive. Even though it is a two-wheel drive it handle really good in the snow.

I like the interior of it, no complaints. I have no problems getting my two young kids and wife in there and still have room for small amount of luggage. I do wish it had a little bit more room behind the rear seat.

Faults:

Nothing so far so that is a good sign. Have done oil changes every 3000 miles. And the general maintenances on the the vehicle.

General Comments:

This a one tough vehicle I have owned. Since I have I have being driving.

Faults:

So far, so good. Nothing at this point, every now and then reverse makes a terrible clunk going in.

General Comments:

I love this truck! All my life I have owned cars out of necessity, a mini van because for the kids, then grand kids. When we decided to buy a different vehicle, we wanted a car just for the sheer fun of it. I hadn't considered a Tracker, thinking a 4 X 4 would be out of our price range, when I saw the Tracker I was amazed at the price listings for them, really reasonable, and a great bargain, money well spent. You should see the looks we get when we cruise with the top off! This is a really cute rig. It just plain attracts attention. The gas mileage is awesome. It handles great on the beach & sand. Easy to put in 4 X 4. Very light clutch. I am handicapped and have no trouble with the clutch. It corners well. Very responsive, however it Tends to be hard to control in a good wind. Not really a problem for us, considering the advantages. All in all, we made a good decision. We love out Tracker! We will buy another one if the opportunity comes along!

Faults:

The only problem I have had is in the emission system at about 70,000 miles. The oxygen sensors malfunctioned. This indicated some parts needed replacing (emissions parts). It finally ended up a bad/dirty sensor problem that was covered under the emissions warranty.

Tends to blow about easily on the highway in the wind necessitating driving at slower speeds in windy weather.

Really enjoy this car!

Economical city car, good in snow, able to haul things easily.

Faults:

Cannot shift into 4WD while moving, have to come to complete stop.

General Comments:

Handles well in snow.

Economic, 30-32 mpg.

Performs well as long as regular maintenance is done, especially fuel filter (which is costly considering its' location).

Air filter costs too much, $15-20.

Glad I got the 4 door model. I feel more comfortable driving on my curvy mountain road than I would with the shorter wheelbase.

I paid too much since I had to buy out a lease that was suppose to be written up for one year & the salesman wrote it up for 5 yrs. My mistake for not reading the fine print, however, I expected the integrity of the salesman to follow my instructions.
