Faults:

Since buying the car in May (now September) it's been serviced over 10 times. It took 4 attempts to fix the rattle in the front left of the car. Finally they replaced my struts, springs, and did spot welds. That fixed it. Now, EVERY time I use the ac, my vents inside the car pour (literally) water. It drips into my CD player and all over the dash board down to the cup holders. Like I said, been serviced many times, yet Honda states that this is typical and customary in their 2002's. I'm fighting for the lemon law, where I think I'll have a good chance at getting some help. It took an attorney to get me some help there.

Faults:

Although my civic is still brand new, I'm slightly upset with the overall feel of the car. It is, overall, a very "marginal" car, and nothing really works excellent, just adequately. For instance, power is just enough, a/c is borderline poor, and ride quality is marginal.

The stock stereo in the car works pretty nicely, but after awhile of listening, seems to sound tinny.

The civic rides nicely, but jolts around a bit and there is too much road noise that permeates the cabin.

Air conditioning really needs to be redesigned, and is probably the worst of any car I've owned. The temperature swings back and forth constantly and violently (a good 15 degrees or so), resulting in a cabin that never really cools down when hot. Honda evaluated it and states that its normal.

General Comments:

For some reason, I can't find anything about the civic that really shouts out excellence.

Faults:

Absolutely nothing has gone wrong with the car.

General Comments:

This is an excellent vehicle. It has good performance for an econobox. Acceleration is good, and handling is excellent.

Fuel economy is excellent. I get about 33 miles per gallon in town using the air conditioning, and not making any attempt to conserve fuel.

Its roomier inside that you would expect from such a small car. I'm 6'3" and about 260, and I've got room to spare. However, lateral room isn't so great if you have a large person in the passenger seat.

Interior materials generally are of high quality, and do not appear cheap. However, the rear door panels have a lot of plastic on the lower part of the door, which isn't great.

The stereo system is great. I have the option in-dash CD changer, which is a very nice feature.

The seats are comfortable, although on trips of four hours or more it can get somewhat uncomfortable, but then again, what car doesn't after that long?

Faults:

Nothing at all.

General Comments:

This is the most perfect car! It's sporty, fast, and a head-turner. It's very reliable, as Honda's always are, and comes loaded with standard features. For roughly $23,000 Canadian, it buys a lot and knowing it will hold it's value is worth it.

I have owned this car for a month and a half and have driven it every single day. My friends and family are jealous and always want me to drive to be able to ride along.

Buying this car was a no-brainier. The Honda Civic is Canada's best selling car for 4 straight years. This car is very well designed and the best looking car of all the choices I had to buy a car. No matter how many car makes I looked at, Honda was number 1 for a very long time. I was very excited to buy my car and guarantee I will be buying another Honda again when I need a new car, many, many years from now.

Faults:

Imobiliser, car would not start occasionally. Replaced Key seems to have Fixed the problem

Loose interior parts

So Far nothing else has gone wrong with the car.

General Comments:

The Car so far has performed fairly well, except for wind noises over 70 km/h, and the interior could be better in both confort and interior material's quality.

The car is a good buy for the money, handling is great, gas mileage even better.

Great car For the Money...!!

The car is still very new, and no problems yet.

General Comments:

This car is absolute best car for value, performance, and looks. Even though I spent an extra $40,000 adding parts to it, it was still very good when I purchased it right out of the dealer.
