2016 Honda Civic LX 2.0
Summary:
Nice feel but lack some driving feel. A good allround car with nice features
Faults:
Brand new. I hope not.
General Comments:
The Honda Civic has changed since the last year model. A whole new look and interior. I like the dashboard and all the features. The Apple play is great to have, but it sometimes loses connection. It lacks the volume adjuster knob; the touch screen doesn't work as nicely. Even the one on the steering wheel has its issue.
The car is low, which I like, but might not be so much for those with back issues.
It handles well and the acceleration is good. You have nice features to select for the transmission like Sport and Eco.
What I found is that when driving on the highway, the engine has a hard time accelerating and finding the right gear to keep. It has good suspension and rides nicely over bumpy roads. The steering isn't as responsive.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

It's hard to take new car reviews seriously as they obviously don't have any problems, so it's a really unfair assessment.
Come back after you owned the car several years and racked over 100,000 miles. Then a review can be more justified as a vehicle's reliability, quality, and overall comfort level and performance can be judged more accurately since they tend to degrade as the miles rack up. Everything from squeaks and rattles, to drivetrain noises, ride quality, and parts failure.

This is an objective critical review of a 2016 Civic, written by an actual owner, unlike the puffery posted here a month ago.
