1991 Honda CRX Si 1.6L SOHC

Summary:

Oh my God

Faults:

I had to replace an axle thanks to some faulty suspension work that was done before I got it. Other than that, I've had no problems.

General Comments:

I got this car for $2000 and I must admit, it was a steal.

It's a 91 Honda CRX Si, which means that it's got the 108hp 1.6L SOHC engine. I must say, it's a quick little beast.

The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smooth for relaxed cruising, but it grabs hard when you wanna go. It'll bark the tires good when you hit second.

The interior in this car gives it a nice sporty feel. The gauges are laid out nicely, and everything is straight to the point. No nonsense. Both seats are comfortable, and the lack of a back seat doesn't bother me at all.

This vehicle handles like a dream! The low, wide stance, and short wheel base make driving this car incredibly fun.

The car also looks fantastic. Its sleek profile makes it an incredibly fast-looking vehicle, and the rear just screams "sport."

All in all, this is a great car and I'll probably never get rid of it.

1991 Honda CRX Si JDM 4 cylinder. 1.6

Summary:

The ultimate tuner

Faults:

The car has no problems, probably has to do with the JDM (Japan Do-Luck Marque) parts.

General Comments:

I purchased the car with the hopes of making the ultimate street racer.

It has an automatic transmission, but I put in a manual-style shift knob to look cool.

At 14500 miles, I bought a set of Japanese 20 inch rims, for the back wheels. I couldn't afford the front ones, so I left the stock ones on until I could afford rims.

At 46504 miles, I put the American 17 inch rims on the front.

Installed NOS at 150000 miles, and it makes the car do 120 miles per hour.

This car is a chick-magnet and everybody is jelous of me with my JDM car.

The interior was dull and boring, so I stripped out everything and then put it all back in with one racing seat, one stock seat, and imitation carbon fiber and roll bars. I also put in a boost meter, so people think that my car is fast.

I put on a body kit and a huge hood scoop on a few years ago, in the process I put primer the whole car and then never got to actually painting it, so I used a spray can and some scotch-tape.

This Civic is the best car on the road and is the envy of all the other street racers out there.

I would highly recommend this car if you want to get the ladies.

I give you some credit for writing a funny review. Although I don't believe it. I had a '89 USDM CRX and I loved that car, I wish I hadn't sold it.

I think the reviewer is playing a joke on us.

1991 Honda CRX HF

Summary:

Great High MPG Commuter Car!

Faults:

Just normal maintenance stuff. Just replaced the muffler.

General Comments:

My '91 Honda CRX HF is a really great car! I purchased this car for one reason. Commuting. I get approximate 53 miles per gallon on the highway and mid 40's around town. This car is by no means a performance car. Nor was it designed to be. With only 60 horsepower it's a dog in the mountains. But around town she is a great car. No problems, just Honda reliability.

1991 Honda CRX Si 1.7

Summary:

Little car with a lot of features.

Faults:

Air Condition is not working, I'm not sure why, it has not been checked out.

General Comments:

I am 16 and this is my first car.

I am very happy with this car it has done so much for me, I don't think I could want another car.

It's a very quick car having 108 horse power and being that small.

Sound great and get great mileage on the free way, or in a town.

Great to put systems in, Easy wiring.

I know a lot of people my age or around that age group like hooking their car up and a lot of people tell me to put a kit on it or lower it. I really don't like all of that stuff, I think the car looks great just in stock, but I will change the wheels on it to some 16in Alloy rims.

The CRX handles like a baby around corners

I would suggest this car to any one, young or old, for the price it is a deal.

Honda has always been good to us, all of our cars are Honda's and we will never switch.

I hope this helps.

Agree with the review. Don't listen to the mod-kids. The Mk2 CRX is such a beautiful and stylish car, sticking stuff on it is like peeing on a Picasso.

Keep your baby as it is and cherish it.
