2002 Honda Odyssey LX 3.5L V6
Summary:
Adequate
Faults:
The passenger sliding doors are noisy when van is driven over bumpy surfaces. The dealer, Excel Honda in Montreal Canada, said that all LX models are this way and that it is normal. We are now trying to deal with Honda Canada.
General Comments:
The promises made by the sales person prior to purchase were outragously unrealistic. We bought the van because we needed a larger one and Chrysler was not an option due to major problems with our previous van; 1998 Dodge Caravan.
The Odyssey so far feels solid, other than the door problem, has lot's of power, is very comfortable, and we like the styling.
The optional in-dash CD player is more expensive than an after market Alpine audio system that includes AM/FM CD/MP3.

We have a 2003 Odyssey and the sliding door problem with the noise is a real issue. Two trips to the dealer and even replacement of some of the door seals has not corrected the problem. This is annoying and a distraction and prevents from bragging about their new car when it sounds like a rattle trap going down the road. There is currently no apparent solution to this problem.
