2002 Honda Pilot EX
Summary:
It has made me not want to buy a Honda again
Faults:
The leather seat for the driver was replaced early on by Honda. The other leather is badly worn.
The DVD headphones quit working 4 years ago. So you cannot do the dual zone entertainment.
The rear AC quit working at 90000 miles.
The VTM light has been on for 4 years.
It currently drives very badly, and when we take it to the dealer, they say nothing is wrong with it.
It has been dealer maintained since we purchased it.
General Comments:
Not so impressed with all the problems we have with the car, and that Honda doesn't know what's wrong with it.
Like the way the seats fold down - one of the first cars to do that.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Vehicles do have issues when they first come out. Everything listed in your review has been reviewed by Honda and new parts have fixed those problems. Again working out the bugs in a new model. 90k is a lot of miles for nothing to go wrong. Pilots are a great vehicles, but are not bulletproof. I think Honda know whats up and they, like other makers, need to work out bugs. Think before you buy the new model! Wait for a few years and go for it! Common sense.
