2008 Honda Pilot EXL AWD 3.5 V6
Summary:
Uncle Bob's vehicle is now in "babied care" of his nephew!!!
Faults:
Nothing.
General Comments:
I recently got this vehicle from my uncle's estate, and got a winner of a vehicle. My aunt died last year. The kids asked me if I wanted it, and I said yes, so it's now in our family along with our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ.
My uncle babied this vehicle and kept it in a climate controlled garage all its life. It's silver with grey leather seats. Like my uncle, this baby is still garage kept. It's never been smoked in and never will be. My wife and I love it. We'll baby it exactly like my uncle did.
We would definitely recommend the Pilot to anyone looking for a roomy, safe, and very dependable mid size family sport utility vehicle. Best of all, it's a Honda so it's long lasting!!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

You inherited a fantastic vehicle. I purchased an '08 in 2014. It still rides like new, and is very comfortable (especially on long trips). It handles well in wet and snowy weather, and moderately well on ice.
I see your uncle only had about 50,000 miles on it. As he babied it, I'm sure all of your fluids and maintenance items are up to date. However, I would offer (in case you did not know) a suggestion to get your timing belt and water pump changed. Honda usually suggest approximately 100,000 miles or seven years. I believe a valve adjustment around 110,000. It's not cheap... but is a MUST DO ITEM. Otherwise, it's just the usual maintenance.
One other thing, if you're into doing your own oil changes. This one is the easiest oil change ever. The oil pan is toward the front of the vehicle, and the oil filter is directly behind the front passenger side wheel.
I hope you are enjoying your new (to you) Pilot.
