2000 Hyundai Elantra 3.7L
Summary:
The Hyundai is definitely an economical vehicle in every sense of the word
Faults:
My Hyundai has gone through few repairs, normal wear and tear.
I needed to replace my tires at 30,000 miles.
General Comments:
The car doesn't have a lot of pickup at 130 horsepower.
I got a car alarm with remote locking so I can find my car in the garage easier. I will never get another car without this feature.
There is ample trunk space for a small four-door sedan.
The seats are comfortable.
My arm rest is getting worn where I rest my left arm. I can feel the plastic cracking under my elbow. But, the fabric on top is still in good condition.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I initially thought that the car didn't have much power, but what you have to remember is cars that are 16 valve and double overhead cams like the elantra, you have to rev them high to get the real power. My 2000 Elantra really starts to wake up past 4000 rpm.
