2000 Hyundai Elantra
Summary:
This car has frustrates me more than anything
Faults:
All four window motors have failed.
The engine is failing.
General Comments:
First off, the front drivers side window motor failed. I bought a used motor for $80 and had a friend fix it after our first attempt at untangling the metal rope failed. Then the front passenger window failed and cost $350 to get fixed. Then the right rear window failed and we got that fixed. Now the left rear window failed. It is almost winter and I will have to get that fixed now.
When I press on the gas pedal, the car jerks several times before it will go. I get my oil changed regularly and take good care of my car, so I know it is not because of the care I give it.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

When I unlock the driver's side door, all other doors unlock too. However, when I "lock back the driver side door" none of the other doors will lock back. I have to get out my car and "manually" lock the other 3 doors. This is dangerous, as one could forget to lock the other doors, think they are locked when they are not, resulting in someone maybe being able to just open the door and step into the car with me. Anyone else had or having this same problem, and what can be or was done to "fix" this? Help!!
