2000 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6
Faults:
One day after buying the car, a sensor on the transmission that tells the car when to shift stopped working, and the car would go from 1st to over-drive, or vice-versa. Fun on the freeway!! Three weeks later the alternator went. Replaced that, and the battery. 4 Months later replaced both rear wheel bearings. Driver's window fell off track shortly after that, and the radio started cutting out when you hit bumps. Speaking of hitting bumps, the suspension is soft and squishy and the car swerves and feels like it's on ice skates when trying to drive aggressively in curvy road sections, or merging quickly in and out of heavy traffic situations. Lots of trim has fallen off the interior, and the cloth feels cheap and is hard to clean.
Oh yeah, back to the other stuff... Blew the radiator at around 67,000 in which case the transmission coolant lines going to the radiator sucked back coolant into the transmission and totally wreaked havoc on it, even after flushing the whole system. Car will not shift properly at all. Check engine light will not go out regardless of what you or a technitian does. Try starting the car after putting gas in the tank... you may be at filling station for 20 minutes waiting for the engine to start... if your battery doesn't go dead first. Power steering reservoir split and dumped oil everywhere during cold weather, and that needed to be replaced. Now front wheel bearings are howling, struts in rear are banging, brakes are losing pressure, and the air conditioner is wimpy... it can't even keep up with our moderate northern New England summers.
Other than that, the color is alright and the actual torque of the V6 was satisfying, if the chassy could stay on the road when trying to put it to use!
Never again... I will never by another Hyundai, when I can buy a HONDA!
General Comments:
Dislike car.
Would not buy another.
Costly and inconvenient.
Perhaps just got a lemon and feel a bit jaded, but still cannot change my mind.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Ha ha ha.. a viper on a sonata. They're funny anywhere.. but on a Hyundai?
Spelling checkers are for spelling mistakes.. no excuse there. Thank you for posting that you are ESL..
There are plenty of native speakers whose grammar is much worse.
