2007 Hyundai Sonata
Summary:
We love it just not the MPG we expected
Faults:
Not the miles per gallon they said!!
General Comments:
We love our new Sonata. However when we bought the car they stated 29 city and 36 hwy MPG and we are only getting 20mpg city. The commercials even state up to 38 MPG. Has anyone else had this problem, are we driving it wrong or do they just lie about MPG. We bought it for the gas mileage and even though we love the car and have no complaints it's still frustrating when we think we'll get more MPG than we are now getting!!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

No Hyundai Sonata is rated to get the MPG you said (at least in US gallons). They are rated at 24/34 for the 4-cylinder manual trans, 24/33 for a auto, and 20/30 for the V6.
Also, give it some time for the engine to break in. Remember, good mileage is primarily up to the driver, not the car.
