2004 Hyundai XG350 L 3.6
Summary:
Love, love, love it. Fast
Faults:
Just got a dashboard light on, that when I looked in the booklet, it says something to do with the gas. Could this be the gas cap not tightened enough? I heard that. I am taking it to the dealer today, since I just bought car on 3/1/2014.
I love the car otherwise, and it drives great!!! Very comfortable, classy and smooth ride. Great Infinity stereo system, and it rides like a luxury car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

OK, you bought an XG300/350 whatever, at 120k plus miles and those are your only complaints??
First off, why should the company have to have any obligations to this vehicle? It was warrantied up to 100k miles, meaning the manufacturer guarantees this vehicle (power train only mind you) up to 100k miles; in which case this vehicle has met and exceeded! What possible case can you have against Hyundai Motor America? These old XG's were reliable cars, and served their purpose as Hyundai's flagship vehicle for 5 years. Before you condemn the company, have you even looked at the new ones? The Genesis, Sonata, Azera? These are world class vehicles, meeting and in some cases exceeding their competition.
Don't hate on a car company because you bought a second hand vehicle over 100k, and had a few minor, yes they are quite minor, problems. It kills me how people buy second hand worn out junk that's been not maintained properly from these shady used car people, and automatically blame the manufacturer for their faults. Buyer beware? At the used car place maybe... But don't hate on a manufacturer because you got had at Bob's reliable autoplex in takeyourmoneyville USA. That goes for any vehicle in any manufacturer; Hyundai, Toyota, GM, it doesn't matter. This site is filled with grumbles blaming the wrong people for their problems...
