General Comments:
Finally, at 73 years old I got my Jaguar. It is a 1992 XJS V12 coupe in outstanding condition. An absolutely beautiful automobile, quiet, extremely well built, comfortable, and the best looking car I've ever owned: Poetry in Motion!
I found a Jaguar expert about 15 miles from home. He is currently going over the car with a fine tooth comb. I've wrenched on a lot of cars in my day and I don't expect much wrong with it other than an inoperable fuel gauge and cruise control.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I seriously believe buying a car of your dreams makes you feel great and out of the doctor's office. Having a real passion on these things and keeping you active and off the couch. Most of my family members have incredible cars and are all well and active. It may only be a part of it all, but it’s great. Especially the more nicely restored and new ones that are rolling pieces of art. Some you are the caregiver and they are part of your family for a while til the next. Good luck!

Owning the car of your dreams may well keep you "out of the doctor's office".
But when that car is a quarter-century old Jaguar, time not spent in the doctor's waiting room is likely to be at the auto repair shop's waiting room instead!

I read similar "doctors office" comments on here before. Only the car on topic was a Corvette and not a Jaguar.

Always good to hear when someone gets a car they wanted for a long time and is happy with it! Myself I am also about to own some cars like this that I grew up looking at and always wanted - good luck with the car and keep us posted on any issues :)
