1975 Jeep Cherokee Chief 360 V8
Summary:
A true gem to own
Faults:
I had trouble with the front u-joint of the rear drive shaft.
Had to replace the clutch around 60,000, and then about every 25 to 30,000 miles afterwards.
For the 34 years I've owned it, things that broke were largely due to the way I used it offroad.
Fender flares have rust.
General Comments:
This Cherokee is without a doubt the most durable vehicle I have ever owned. It went just about every place I tried to get to. It was built to go places, and I know they don't build them like this anymore. I plan to get rid of the rust, redo the interior, paint the exterior, and start using it to get around. Great to drive.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
