1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0 high output straight 6
Summary:
Reliably a classic
Faults:
Leaf springs are shot, so it lags in the rear, but because there is a 3" lift, it doesn't hit the tires... Just bounces a bit over bumps in the road.
The interior is super clean. Minor rust... Mostly deferred by the bed liner having been sprayed to prevent it.
Don't know this car's history. Just paid $1200 for a 21 year old car! Super stoked about the strong running engine at almost 300,000 miles! It's definitely been used for off roading in its past. Gonna give it a good home here in a small town in Alaska :)
General Comments:
Forever a classic!
All the power options still work!
Praying it makes it to 25 years old!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I concur. I have a 1992 Jeep Cherokee Sport.
Turn the key, and it drives me from A to B without a glitch.
4.0L engine. Lots of cargo space. Awesome road view.
Low tech, but no mechanical or system problems. Just the usual maintenance required.
Operating cost is low. Excellent vehicle. I take care and I keep it.
