It's a Jeep thing; you wouldn't understand
Tilt steering broken when bought. Replaced steering column at 96000.
Basic replacement, with change of ownership. Belts, filters, smog etc...
A little sluggish in the mountains, but perfect for a slow life style.
Great 4wd.

Jeep may have problems, but overall their cars are excellent
I purchased the Jeep for $800.00.
The jeep has had a problem with a broken line from the hydraulic clutch. It was nigh on impossible to get a new line. I had to have it manufactured by a tractor company.
Anything that held fluid was leaking badly.
After fixing the obvious problems with the leaks and clutch line, the Jeep is a monster that was able to pull other cars out of fields that had gotten stuck.
Over 200,000 miles, and still going strong.
