1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible 7 liter V8
Summary:
A chariot that exists in a realm of its own
Faults:
Alternator was replaced.
Power steering metal line replaced.
New shocks, new suspension bushings, some minor trouble with electric convertible top.
General Comments:
This is the the greatest open car ever from the USA, and maybe one of the greatest cars of all time.
It has a marvelous timeless appearance that simply outclasses anything from any other maker at almost any price.
It remains comfortable, drivable, and most of all, spectacularly enjoyable. This car is a brilliant masterpiece which only becomes more wondrous with the passage of time.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I agree with all of the above which is why I have two :D. love the rear end and restyled fenders on the 65's.

Keep the car and hold onto it forever in its stock form. Unmutilated versions, untouched by the "gangsta" wannabe lowrider kids, are getting rare nowadays.

I completely agree that the 1965 Lincoln Continental sedan and convertible are just about the most beautiful, powerful, and classy cars ever built! BigRich on Long Island.
