General Comments:

Bought this vehicle with a factory incentive in June of 2007 (it is a 2006); with a 5K discount, the vehicle was less than $12000.

Harsh ride, not too comfortable on long trips, but a great grocery getter or light duty truck for dump runs etc. I have the 5sp manual and get 31mpg gently driven.

No issues whatsoever, but factory Conti tires are the worst, and appear to be wearing like iron, so I am stuck with them until 60 or 70K.

Several under body members appear to be heavily rusted already, so I will be applying a corrosion inhibitor. Having already junked a vehicle due to chassis rust (F150), I was quite disappointed in this. I suspect Ford needs to address this, or perhaps it is planned obsolescence.
