1991 Mazda B2600 Cab Plus 2.6 fuel injected
Summary:
A very reliable light duty pick-up
Faults:
The fuel pump went within the first month I had the truck. It was relatively easy to replace.
There is rust everywhere on the under-body of the truck. I live in northern Canada however, and salt is used in abundance on the roads.
Exaust system needs replacing due to rust.
The ignition coil is starting to die.
This truck had been neglected by the previous owner. I needed to do lots of basic maintenance (park plugs, air filter, O2 sensor, etc.) to bring this truck back to its former glory.
General Comments:
This is a very reliable truck, considering I bought it for 2000$.
I have been slowly modifying it, as when something goes, I install the performance replacement.
I have already installed a K&N filter, Bosch 4+ spark plugs, MSD 8.5mm spark plug wires. The performance gains by installing performance parts, although few, have already added to fuel economy and horsepower.
I have a MSD 6T ignition controller and a MSD High Vibration Coil sitting on my desk ready to be installed as soon as I get a day off.
This truck has been very reliable, and I would recommend buying a one to any person who needs a light-duty truck with 4x4 and is on a limited budget.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Sounds super. Where in northern Canada? Alberta? I have 2 b2600 4x4 91-92. What would you modify first if on a budget?
