Faults:

The car had a stalling problem at low speed. I had O2 sensor, fuel pump and another sensor replaced. This ran me a big chunk of change, like $1000. The problem persisted. Dealership was unable to fix. Started using BP gas and problem went away. I didn't believe it so I tried another brand of gas, and sure enough, problem came back.

Some minor annoyances such as front door hinge wore out, the lights on climate control are intermittent and ironically, the intermittent windshield wipers are sometimes more intermittent than designed. Additionally, when brakes get wet, they squeal when backing out of my driveway after sitting over night, the blower motor chirps at low speed, and the sliding door window rattles a tad. The windows fog up in cold damp conditions to the degree that AC is mandatory.

General Comments:

Overall, I like the car. It is quick, quiet and comfortable. If not for the crazy stalling problem, I would have ended up putting little money into this car. I am planning on getting another in three years when I hit 200k miles.

Faults:

1. Rear air conditioning pipes were leaking on the second year I got the car. The pipes were all rust, and rust, and rust.

2. 2 out of three main radiator hose were broke, and replaced. Additional hose near the manifold also replaced. Gas line hose also replaced because it was sipping gasoline.

3. The spark plug wires were all cracked, and I have to replace all of them.

4. Front driver side power window motor broke.

5. Throttle stuck at the first start up. It took a long time to get it working properly.

6. Front driver door latch came loose. The screws, nuts and bolts were not secure enough.

7. Power door lock has a mind of its own. Sometimes the locks do not work correctly.

General Comments:

I like the car as the design is relatively good. The reliability of this car is extremely poor. No wonder Toyota market is gaining shares and became the second biggest auto maker instead of FORD.

Faults:

The major thing we have had to do on this van is the air conditioner. The others were few and minor.

General Comments:

Our family van was bought used with about 40,000 miles on it. It now has 96,000 miles and I really want a used sport utility vehicle. I have not found one that has a good enough reliablity rating yet.

My van continues to ride well and has had few problems. The back seat slides easily when you want more space. We ran over a deer a few months ago and the only problem we had was the oil filter was knocked off! My van is still running great!

The four captains chairs are very comfortable for adults on long trips!
