1992 Nissan 240SX SX 2.4 DOHC
Summary:
A reliable and affordable beauty
Faults:
Rust on rocker panels and under spoiler due to design flaws.
Had to replace the clutch (normal wear)
Bolts on the heat shields rusted out, I had to weld them back on.
Odd problem with rear brakes - pads warp easily.
General Comments:
A pleasure to drive, handles beautifully.
Quick tranny, almost too easy to peel out. Eats civics for breakfast.
Maintain your engine and she'll purr.
Sleek design still turns the ladies' heads even though the car is 11 yrs old.
Most of my rust problems were due to Canadian winters - salted roads.
Speaking of winter, never had a problem starting the car even when I forgot to plug her in at -30C.
I haven't had to put much money into this car other than regular tune ups and tires, etc. I have really enjoyed owning this car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

My 240sx did come with power everything (except power seats), and cruise control. This is an amazing car. I feel like a million bucks when I drive it. (Mine is a convertible.)
