Faults:
Installed a clutch kit bought off eBay with the wrong pilot bearing, which ruining the transmission.
Installed a used tranny, and then put in an Exceedy clutch, but the mechanic never told me to replace the main seal, which now leaks. Now the transmission been out 3 times and she slips after 2 hours of use.
Be smart and go original from Exceedy off ebay, and do not try to save 50.00 with someone selling a kit for cheap. It was actually a great kit, but came with the wrong pilot bearing. Which ended up costing me hundreds and it's still not right. I had to purchase a used tranny; that's not all that great.
Installed a relay switch, visors, plugs, oil change every 3000 miles.
New brakes and and tires at 159,000. It still has its original shocks and the tires wear good surprisingly good, but not great.
It's a great reliable truck, but as I once read before, do the clutch right the first time and all will be right again. I've spent 500.00 for that wrong bearing and purchasing a used transmission, and still need to pull it out for like for the fourth time, but I just don't care anymore.
I had a 1986.5 and I thought it to be a better truck. It had the water pump go out at 245,000 miles. My brother was unaware he was seizing the engine with no antifreeze when on an outing
Also the 1986.5 had like a 500.00 driveline job, so I'm sure I got screwed, but I would be checking that first if I were to get that year again. I abused that truck so much I think it was as good if not better than all the many Hondas I've driven. It was bulletproof.
The seats stink and the junkyard never has used part for it.

Tsk tsk, don't blame that amazing rig for your mistakes. With that truck there certainly is NO REASON to get a good mechanic...
