1991 Nissan NX2000 2.0 DOHC
Summary:
Small yet practical, and a joy to drive
Faults:
When I bought the car, the AC condenser had a hole and one of the fog lights was out; I replaced both.
Recently my AC compressor broke and I replaced it.
The supports that hold up the back hatch no longer function properly.
Nothing as far as the engine, but the clutch is beginning to slip, which is normal for a high-mileage vehicle, especially since the previous owner (my brother) drove it very aggressively.
General Comments:
Great car, very unique. Guys with their little Hondas or other imports have asked me what kind of car is it, because they have no idea what it is.
Excellent handling and acceleration. Biggest brakes I've seen on this size car, which have saved me from crashing several times.
The interior is very ergonomic. Especially the simple controls and the position of the shifter. As well as the comfortable seats with good lateral support to keep you in good position when maneuvering at high speeds.
Great gas mileage, T-Tops, and a fold down back seat that gives you a lot of extra cargo room, and makes this car ideal for a young guy in college.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I bought my 1992 Nissan NX 2000 new for $15,000. I love my baby.
It still turns heads with its cherry red color, nice tires and wheels, bra and shades for the headlights.
Everyone I know has much newer cars, but they just do not compare.
I love it when someone thinks they can pass me on a corner, but I have to replace my 40,000-mile tires at 14,000 miles because of this.
I do not understand why it did not retain the value.
