2001 Nissan Pathfinder
Summary:
Switch cars, and save your money for a down payment on a new car, and drive happy!
Faults:
I had commented on it before Jan 6th 2010, too many problems!
It was a lemon. 87,000 miles on it.
CD changer broken, windows slow, loss of acceleration on freeways up hill. OK to run in the city, but horrible on gas!!!
The vehicle shakes when driving 55mph, CEL light on!
The only thing I have to say, would be if you like this car, then you need to be rich!!! All of its maintenance is too expensive for me, and the guess what's wrong now game was no longer fun!
I decided to fix my car, ummm... $1,400 before tags due in Jan of course. I didn't have the money, so it would have been on a credit. My kids are way older, and didn't need to lug them around. The youngest one was going to drive in about 6 months, so there was another issue (not safe for her to learn on).
I traded it in for my now Hyundai Accent 2010. They gave me $2000.00 at the dealership. I really only thought maybe $800.00, so I was very happy!!
My headaches are gone, and I am enjoying my ride to work and daily routines without hating life!!! I am so happy now and stress free; a new payment again, but totally worth not worrying for another 10-15 years, maybe even more by the Hyundai comments read (very good!!!) :)
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

If you were rich wouldn't you be buying something better than a Pathfinder? LOL.
